X International Symposium on Marine Sciences (ISMS)

The objective was to bring together researchers and professionals in marine sciences to present and discuss recent scientific advances, promote knowledge exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration, and foster networking and cooperation on key challenges related to the marine environment, climate change and the sustainable use of ocean resources.

The high-resolution wave climate database developed within AWESDI was presented at the ISMS 2026 conference. The presentation introduced the CMIP6-based regional wave downscaling methodology and the resulting publicly available dataset for the European Atlantic coast, highlighting its potential applications for wave energy assessment and coastal studies.
